Spirit Creature Papier-Mâché Mask Masking
In this workshop, Gabrielle will instruct students on how to create their very own papier-mâché spirit creature mask. Students will create a mask with recycled cardboard, paper bags, and cornstarch glue, and once dry, have the opportunity to paint and decorate their masks. Invited to explore their creativity and imagination, everyone will create a “spirit creature” ~ an animal/spirit/living entity of their own mind. What kind of living spirit could be beneficial to you on your soul’s journey? This workshop combines tactile and technical skills of craft – making with soulful and inquisitive journaling, free – thinking and imaginative exploration.
