Genevieve ‘Water Song’ Houck is an aqua therapist, music therapist, massage therapist, and community song leader from Pittsburgh, PA. Her singing community ‘Song Circle for the People,’ has been meeting in song for the last 10 years. She is a Priestess of the Family of Fire, who meets to circle the fire all night for 3 days throughout the country. This co-creative circling has led her to produce her first festival, ‘Fire Sacred Fire:a gathering of the sacred fire arts.’ Her devotion to the water and the fire, as well as a history of spinal injuries have led to offering grieving ceremonies through song and Aware Self Care ‘Spiraling Up through Chronic Pain’ classes. Genevieve has been raised by a physical therapist/concussion specialist for a mother, and brings a lifetime of therapeutic knowledge to her offerings.
