Jacob Goeddeke is the founder of Bountiful Blessings Organic Farms, a holistic health and wellness brand rooted in regenerative farming and natural living. As a dedicated homesteader, he’s on a mission to build a self-sufficient life — growing his own food, raising animals, and crafting herbal and fermented remedies from scratch. Jacob brings hands-on experience in everything from organic cultivation to plant-based wellness.

With a passion for community and empowerment, Jacob teaches the art of kombucha brewing as both a health practice and a self-sufficiency skill. His workshops focus on reconnecting people to simple, healing traditions — encouraging others to take health into their own hands, one ferment at a time.

Kombucha: 101
In this first session, participants will dive into the origins, benefits, and science of kombucha — an ancient fermented tea rich in probiotics and natural health benefits. Jacob Goeddeke will walk you through the fermentation process step-by-step, covering everything from brewing the sweet tea base to understanding how a SCOBY works and why it’s the heart of every batch.Participants will receive all materials needed to start brewing, including a quart glass jar, SCOBY, and starter liquid. You’ll prepare your own first ferment during class and leave with the skills, confidence, and live culture needed to continue the process at home. Whether you’re brand new to kombucha or just looking to sharpen your technique, this workshop lays the foundation for successful brewing.
Kombucha: 102
In this second class, we move from fermenting to flavoring, bottling, and carbonation. Instructor Jacob Goeddeke will guide you through how to create your own custom blends using fruits, herbs, spices, and roots — turning your kombucha into a personalized probiotic powerhouse. Each participant will be provided with a fully fermented kombucha batch, ready to be flavored and bottled during class. You’ll leave with your own creation — already in its second fermentation phase — to finish at home. This hands-on experience will give you the skills to safely flavor, carbonate, and store your kombucha, while encouraging creativity and confidence in your brewing journey.
