Consent is more than a “yes” or a “no”—it’s a dynamic, ongoing process rooted in self-awareness, boundaries, and trust. In this interactive session, we’ll explore the nuance of consent through the lens of The Consent Academy’s teachings, including the often-overlooked but vital responses like “maybe,” “not yet,” and “I need to think about it.”
Together, we’ll unpack why giving or receiving clear consent can be difficult, and how power, social pressure, trauma, and communication habits shape our ability to speak and hear the truth of our own boundaries. Participants will leave with practical tools and embodied practices for navigating consent in everyday life—whether in play, relationships, or community spaces.
This workshop is for anyone seeking to deepen their understanding of consent, reclaim their voice, and co-create more intentional, respectful interactions.
