Instructor Profile

In this Contact Staff class we will discuss kinetic energy and how it flows. This will be a Dance class with tricks. Learning how to move with the staff can allow you to enter a meditative state. Energy flows and allows us to connect with the prop. We will cover a combo sequence using Angel rolls and Steves. We will also learn how to use the halo 360s to add dynamic movement to our dance. We will cover reverse and foward fishtails and talk about the staffs spinning direction. In this class we will do some group choreography and learn how we to make some fun shapes with our contact staffs. This easy choreography will allow us to come together in the fire circle to create a fire display for the audience members. Community makes us all stronger and by dancing together we build bridges and connections that last a lifetime.
